GLBT GLBT private, membership only, 21+, non-profit, campground in Washington’s Mt. Baker/Snoqualmie National Forest. Mostly men, limited membership available, no reservations—first come, first served, although they’ve never turned anyone away. Mostly tent camping, but some RV sites, camp sites are bare spot of ground, mostly level, situated amongst old growth trees and ferns. Short term or guest camping is largely on adjacent Forest Service land, that has never been logged and therefore without improvements. Porta–Potties, no showers, no running water (except the glacier fed river), no potable water, pets welcome. Hiking, horseback riding, rivers, waterfalls, alpine lakes, Big Four Ice Caves, Quarry Waterfall, The Falls of Granite Falls, Monte Cristo Ghost Town, Open 2nd Sat, April – 2nd Saturday, October.
Directions: From Seattle: I-5 North, 28 miles; Exit 194, Hwy 2 East, 2 miles; Left exit Hwy 204, Lake Stevens, 2.6 miles; Left Hwy 9 North, 1.8 miles; Right/East Hwy 92 8.25 miles to main 4 way stop. Then see “once you reach Granite Falls”. From Vancouver: South Provincial Hwy 99, 30.5 miles; US/Canadian Border; South I-5, 68.1 miles; Exit 208, Hwy 530 East, 3.7 miles; Right/South Hwy 9, 12 miles; Left Hwy 92, 8.25 miles. Then see “once you reach Granite Falls”. “Once you reach Granite Falls”: through town past 4 way stop, ¼ mile to next 4 way stop; Left Mountain Loop Hwy, 21.3 miles. Watch for a post on the left 47715, go 150 ft. further turn right, drive to “host hut”

The Dry Creek Store next to the campground offers food, beer & wine, fishing gear & licenses, gas, diesel, propane and ice.
The area is known for its multitude of activities. Local Guided Whitewater Rafting & Mountain Biking Tours also available.
